Default Whacha using for tires?

So, time for the Heritage to get some new rubber.. The Dunlops were OK, but nothing special. I've used Conti-tours on a couple bikes in the past, good tire and high on my list, but O thought I'd nose around a bit and see whats new out there?

TIA

I really like my Avon Cobras -- excellent handling and almost as long-wearing as the stock Dunlops. They're not available in a whole lotta sizes though.

I ran the Metz's for the 1st 3 years I had my bike. I got around 10,000 miles on the rear. Last time around, the set was going to be around $350 (up from $220 when I started), so I shopped around and decided to try the Dunlop Elite 3's. Got them for $200 shipped to my door.
Good handling tire, doesn't grab the rain grooves like the original Dunlops, and I should get 12,000 easy out of the rear. If you upgrade to the 140 width, u get more usable tread depth and longer mileage.

Pirelli Night Dragons, been on for almost a year. Good in the rain and great on the twisties. I will buy another set when this set is gone.

Michelin Commander on the back, and a Dunlop on the front.
