The only thing I really regret are not going with the 1.50 bars for the same price. Also I would have been better suited for 14" apes. Carlinis run tall my 16's measure over 17"s.

The only reason I stuck with the full 1.25 bars is because they are 36.5 " end to end.I thought the 1.50 bars at 41 end to end would be too wide for me.

I will tell you Carlini makes beautiful quality bars. But do your home work. They have so many different configurations available it gets a bit confusing. For ex in the Gangster series. The full 1.50 bars are like 41.5 " end to end. The full 1.25 " bars are 36.5" end to end. And the stepped down (to 1" clamping area) 1.25 bars are like 41" end to end. The Flyin Apes are a little narrower at 34" end to end in some configurations but just as wide in others. Like I said do your home work with the Carlinis So you get what you like.

I have not been able to post pics for about 6 months. If you want some pics PM me your email add and I can send them that way.

On another note my apes are coming off. I just ordered some custom made 1.50 beach Bars yesterday, from Bill at BR Custom bars should be here in about 4-6 weeks.
Thanks for the information you share. If I could see your bike pictures that would be really nice. But some reason I can not send pm. I don't have the option of messaging yet. And other question any reason or disadvantage that you think
I should not go with wider ape which is 1.5 gangster. Thanks in advance.

No man, at 6' 4" you should have no problems what so ever with the 16" 1.5 Carlini Gangster's. You could prob get away with the 18's no problem. But if you want comfort I would stick with the 16's..

The Flyin Apes have more pull back then the Gangsters for even more comfort if you dig the look.

Thanks again. How about windshield. Do you have any issue to use windshield. Due to outward curve of gangster. By the way your ride is nice. And I see one of your posting You are going to change your bars to flyer is there any specific reason for that. Are they more comfortable than gangster . Do you have experience on that. Thank you .
