Harley speedo-odometer w/ built in tach

RE: Harley speedo-odometer w/ built in tach
I had thought about putting that speedo tack setup in my deluxe but decided against it. I really cant see myself looking down at the tack when I am flying through the gears. I need to be looking in front of me. Just to kind of try it I went thru the gears one day and looked down at my speedo a few times I did not feel safe doing that.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. The position on the tank is bad to monitor it and who needs a tach anyways? Especially at $400-$500 +installation. Not to thread jack but what's everyone's opinions on the mini gauges (oil temp/oil press/volt) that mount on the bars? Those might be useful but do they add too much clutter on the bars?

Mini tachs look nice but where on the Deluxe would you put it? Simple plug in and about a 10 minute job with the Harley odo/tac. Guess it depends on what you are use to. My Deluxe runs 90 MPH in fourth gear at 5200 RPMS. In Jersoiey when you are about to enter the traffic flow it helps to know where the red line is.
