Default Lowering front end on a deuce

Does anyone know if I need to take the forks off to install the Progerssive drop in springs on my 02 Deuce? I believe I can just unscrew the fork caps and remove the spacer and springs.

yes i believe you are right! unscrew caps,do a search, i think somone has a thread on here step by step how to do it!
