Default fatboy auxillary lights

Ill say thanks now for the help. Im looking at the deluxe aux kit from harley. I know ill have to purchase a new detachable windshield, i have the king size w/o aux lights. Can some one answer is it neccessary to change the chrome plate behind the headlight. The kit comes with the flat one. Mine has the embossed lines in it. I see there is a cheaper auxillary light kit , but it looks like you would have to buy the relocation kit which is about another 100 dollars. Also i dont think my bulley style directionals would mount to the relocation kit. Any info is always appreciated

The Deluxe Aux kit come with new bullets for the mount and if you want to use the original ribbed plate you would have to make a notch on each side for the directional wires. I wanted to keep the ribbed plate also but it didn't look right with the wires exposed

See my pics in the 'Calling all fat boy Lo' thread. I pieced together a kit and just drilled holes and used grommets in the sides of my back plate. The deluxe kit comes with everything you need, the cheaper one is only the lights. Neither come with bulbs I don't think. Your stock turn signals will not work with the cheap kit.
