Short dudes with Apes..
I'm a pretty short guy. About 5'5", maybe another inch with my boots on.
I ride a '95 Softail Springer. What size apehangers would you guys reccommend. 12" or 14" waqs kinda what I was thinking. Wonder if the 14" would be to high for me.
Thanks for reading guys.
Oh, here are the bars. With the rest of the specs.

I'm 5'6" and I have 12" Carlini Flyin Apes on my 05 Fatboy. They actually measure about 13-13.5". My hands are at shoulder height when riding. You should be fine with 12's or 14's depending on were you want your hands. Things that can affect the height of the bars are a lowered bike or lower setting seat. If the bars are pulled back or pushed forward it can make a difference as well.

I'm 5-6 and may consider modest apes at some point. Although...I do like the stock bars on my FB Lo...they put me in a sporting posture that I like to attack the curves.
I would be concerned of the apes and their effect on handling and the ability to "push" and lay the bike over when turning or when in the curves.
I think the stock bars make the bike a riders motorcycle. And the apes make it a cruiser/bar hopper.
One riding bud already told me I ride this Fat Boy like it's a VRod. LoL.
Thoughts?
