Funny pic. I have a cousin shorter than me with a lot longer reach then me. Most of the relatives our age all gave him a bad time about dragging his knuckles. His extra reach came in handy as it probably would with ape hangers. Point is that there are probably more factors than just a person's height, i.e. Length of torso, reach, and seat.

If possible, visit a dealer with a demo "fit" bike. They have one here and I swapped in some ape hangers. Then tried several different seats. Made all the difference in the world though the apes were the same.
