Default Night Train question???

Did the 2001 Night Train come with fuel injection. What is the top speed of this bike and can it beat a 1200 sporty in a 1/4 mile with equal riders. Just curious?

Yes Fuel injection was available on the night train in 01.

I would guess it would top out at a little over 100 mph?

No, a stock Night Train would not beat a stock 1200 sportster, only a V-rod stock would take it.

I own an 01 Night Train. And yes it is fuel injected. My speedo. tops out at 120 mph and i have barried it a few times. As far as 1/4 mile speed i dont think a stock NT would beat a 1200 sporty.

Check out the road test review in the back of Cycle World, I think. The difference in most lighter Big Twins and Sporties is very little.
