All 4 of the dealers I have been too looking for a used Night Train nudged me towards the Blackline. One went so far as to say the Blackline is the answer for the Night train.

I used to own a Night Train. The Blackline is not nearly as mean looking as a Train but it has its own vibe going. I saw one today at my dealer and I like it. It's much more old school looking than a Train. It is going for the old school, bobber, shovel look. I like the engine and I like the rear fender. It reminded me a lot of the Nightster I used to own...same vibe but in a Softail package.
By contrast, the Train looks much more modern and mean. Like a blacked out pro-street bike with an agressive attitude.
I would be proud to own either bike and as I stated, I used to own a Train and do miss it. But I just can't justify a 3rd bike. I have an Ultra for traveling and I have my Deluxe for cruising. But d@mn I want a hot rod.

Kept my old one when I bought my last bike. One is more of a hot rod, the other is really easy going, it would be my more than a day trip scoot...
It is really cool to have a choice, and as others have also stated, if u have one down for a new Dyna S 2000 I ignition install (no more Crane Hi-4 , u won't be caged during riding days.....
