Default 70 Degrees and a awesome ride

My windshield came in today for my 2011 Lo. Got it for cold weather and long rides to the beach. So i tried it out today and spent about 100 miles on the interstate and about 50 on back roads. 30 mph gust winds and sustained 18 mph winds. It did just what i wanted and kind of like the look. Reminds me of the old WLH 1940s postwar bikes with the big windshields. Anyway, it was just good to ride. Like the girl at my credit union said, its my rolling man cave. Ride like its your last ride!

Fri is looking really good here in the Kakalackies. It was breezy and only got a short ride in, heard on the news it was Valentine's Day. MB sounds like a pretty good Fri run, lunch at the Carolina Roadhouse, and back home again. Nice day trip from Lillington.

What kind did you add? I dig the one that comes on the CVO convertable. Not sure if non CVO's can get it. One more payment and I'll start messing around again. Air shocks, windshield, some type of removeable bags. Been on a spending hold for 2 years. Oh yea - low 70's on my way home from work yesterday. The ride in was 40 brrrrrr (but only an 8 mile trip).

Shields are also great when things come flying at you and hit the shield at 75mph. lol

Pics or it never happened! This is good to hear. Looking forward to checking out mine when I get home. I take it you went with the king size detachable?

It also comes in handy when the ambient temps are 110F+ everyday since the heat off the pavement feels like a furnice blowing on your face.
