I agree with kicking out the bottom. I'd like to find a dove tail that I could weld on it, any suggestions? At least on the rear I'm keeping the dove tail by cutting it off, lengthening the fender and welding it back on.

I may go ahead and paint the front and if I come across something that will work, then add it and repaint it.

This is the look I'm after (the rear is not exact, but you get the idea).

You might take some black construction paper and cut it flaired out and tape it to the rear edge of the fender to see if it's the look you're going for.
It can then used as a template to cut sheetmetal to shape to your ideal look.

I'm thinking Roman era or perhaps, it's because I watched "The Eagle" last weekend.

Was it a good movie? I just saw a trailer for it and looks like a movie I'd enjoy.

Paint it if you are going to slap a 21" under it. Then it will look proper! I love the look of the fender.

You just have to do the chop the same as in the rear its just more tricky because of the angles on the front fender

I guess we're in the minority. I definitely feel the same way.

I like mine. Fork lowers will done soon. . . . plus a Black trim ring for the headlight.

did it last year. . . . the paint was the most difficult to match.

Good Luck.

Forgot to add, that the Exhaust will be changed as soon as Dr. V-Twin gets it shipped.
Thanks Drew.
