IMO, kick out the bottom of the front fender like the rear fender and keep and paint it. I though personally like the front fender on the fatboy so screw all you Deluxe riders. Haha

I like it. Paint it to match. I think the heritage fender will look great with your plan of a stretched rear fender.

I respectfully disagree. The FB front fender is one of the defining characteristics of the bike. Once you change it out to a Deluxe/Heritage fender and change out the wheels, there is nothing left to distinguish it from a Deluxe or Heritage anymore. That's why I will never change out my front fender, even if I end up extending the rear. I am changing my wheels, but they are just customized stock wheels.
