I just used a Ford HD model's emblem to hide the holes left in the fender after installing a Roto-plate.

Getting the holes welded up and repainted would be the cleanest, but costs more.
Or as some have done, chop the fender.
coool, you are smart then ..

Hehe, you could do a lot of what a shop would charge you for.
You just need to look over another's shoulder to see its not difficult.

Some shops dislike customers watching. Next time you have them do some work, ask if you can watch them work. They can only say no.

So he compared the Star Stryker, which is more equivilent to a Softail Standard or Custom, to a Rocker? How about if we compare a XL 883 to a Goldwing for touring? Kind of a dumb article, but no matter what they pick, one of them will always be a Yamaha, no matter how you dress it up.

Well, I am a Yamaha fan and previous owner of an R1 and many of their quads, loved all of them, but no way in hell that stryker compares to my Rocker. There is a difference in the market for these two bikes. A bargain biker (yamaha) vs a peice of tradition (harley). I looked at other bikes before buying my first cruiser, but I kept going back to Harley. I decided that $$ did not matter, I wanted a good ole reliable scoot that looked killer. The "looked killer" part almost got me a big dog though...lol. Glad I came to my senses.

I'm sorry, but that Yamaha is just fugly!!! I'd rather pay the extra cash for a metal bike vs. a plastic one!

It looks like H-D agreed with the magazine. They canceled the Rocker.
