I also thought of the Kuryakyn bar, looks like the lights sit back farther on the bar, but kind of judging the slope of my fender, looks like the back of the bullets would sit right where the bag lids meet.

There are also other brands of strut mount signals, but they are not inexpensive either. The street glide bar costs more than the alloy art signals, just so you know.

WILDROOSTER-
I spoke with the guy there at Cyclevisions, I cannot recall his name, and he had said the lightbar off a 06 or newer Roadking would work. upon going to a dealer and looking at a 2010 roadking, it has the same 13" lightbar on it that my bike originally had. From the factory I think they sit farther forward anyway. I think it was a Streetglide bar, because I saw one on a '10 Glide.
Again, I am not pissed at Cyclevisions, It states on the instructions that turnsignals need to be relocated, I guess I was just misinformed when told a shorter lightbar would fit.

I really like the way the back of the bike looks, with no lightbar, kind of sleek, just worry about all the F-in cagers that do not pay attention to small signals.

I hear ya I have been looking at the kuryakyn light bar for my deluxe to simplify the plate relocation and it appears to be the same width as the stock turn signal bar on the deluxe

RAGRAT64

I have not gotten my bagger tail just yet (march money pit) so I dont have a pic of the setup. I have seen pics of older bikes like ours ( I have a 93 FLSTF) with this setup so now you have me wondering if mine will fit as well. Keep me in the loop and good luck.

Now to go get me newly painted tins!!!

I just bought a set of RK classic bags for my 08 Fatboy and the cyclevision kit is in the mail. I am going with the D2moto and get rid of the blinkers all together I think that is going to look the best.

Those bags look like they are something that stay on. Why not do something custom and build some lights, maybe led's, into the bags. Would look a lot cleaner imo and be unique.

Snip0721- Bike looks good, you are running hard bags. Seems like the hard bags sit far enough forward to allow for the light bar.

nhbouncer- I too, am kind of leaning that direction, I just want to see some reviews on the light output of the D2MOTO light.

Kumaride- That was another thought I had, LED blinkers set into the bags and a D2MOTO or BRIGHTASSLIGHTS taillight as money allows.

Funny how the more I keep telling my wife, " I am done with the bike " the more stuff I find to change...Put a 6-speed trans in last fall, the original bags were the only thing left on the bike that I had not touched....
