Default Good deal on a Deluxe?

I went through a few numbers with my local dealer today and here's where we're at so far.

2011 Softail Deluxe
White/Black Paint
Security Package with ABS
Profile Rims

$21,200 drive away ($18,995 without tax and licensing).

What do you guys think? Good deal or should I negotiate harder or look elsewhere?

I paid 16K for my 2010 without security or ABS, but stage 1

I'd think you could get at least another 1,000 off. Talk to them about a cheaper bike without the ABS, security and stock wheels. Just play the poor card and convince them that your leaning towards saving $$$ unless they can meet you in the middle. They will want the extra commission $$$$

I paid MSRP out the door....$17,500 for the sam bike minus the ABS and security...which I believe ads $1000. I'd say you should pay $19,000 OTD at the most! I never understood paying set up and freight....they ordered it, you didn't and they have to set it up for someone to see it and buy it!

Like I said I paid 16K even (included set up and delivery) but I had to pay the taxes. So 17.5 with taxes seems right.

I thought that the buyer always has to pay the taxes when they register it. Didn't think the dealership would go to the DMV like a car dealer does

A deluxe is a fairly fast seller though i would not pay setup, prep, or shipping. It is gonna be hard to get it much under MSRP unless your dealer really wants to sell to meet quota. I know my local dealer sent 4 of them out the door in 3 day a few weeks ago.

$19,000 out the door should be the right price
