Default cholos

found my 39 inch cholos on my front porch when i got home this evening. I probably wont install them for a while I am not in any hurry . I wont be riding for at least another month or so. when the weather stars to break I always wait for a good rain before i hit the roads again. it gets rid of all that nasty salt we have here in new England. That stuff will do a nasty job on your chrome. some of the truck drivers up here tell me the stuff they use on the highways rots away there water pump.well i got the max now 39 inch I hope they do not come out with a set of 42 inch lol

I am gonna order a set this month from you Doc. Just trying to make my final decision on 36 or 39s. I thought I was all set to order 36s...now I am 2nd guessing myself and thinking 39s.

Nikon, can you do me a favor and post some more pics of your 36s?

May I ask where you got your 39" Cholos without baffles?

I had to get the tape measure out to see if they were actually 39's. I think the mudflap I have on my rear fender hides the length a little. The 39's are beautiful! The non-baffled sound is perfect! You have to hear it in person to even imagine.

This is a pretty old post...the new version comes with removable fish tail tips and baffles for the same price. BKRider usually has a decent price on these.

You might still be able to get the old style pipes if you look up the PN you need from the Samson site.

I had issues with a Vendor trying to get the 39"'s for my bike so I went direct to Samson. They were here in 5 days. Did I pay a little more? Yea probably but I got what I wanted and I got it quick and right. I did get the removable tips and baffles too. I might also add that I am getting it redyno'd after the install because the guy I am going to use does not tune to the EPA guidelines and he will cut on my baffles to get the peak performance out of the pipes. With them being cut I can also just pull them should I decide too and it will remain tuned as best and as close as it can get.

Higher flow is good for the top end but did samson mention their torque cones to you? I wonder if they help out allot down low when baffles or modified baffles are used? They usualy follow cholo threads...maybe they will chime in.
