Default Wheel weight options for spoke rims

Just had new tire put on my 06 Heritage with spokes and dealer put on ugly *** stick on weights. I questioned them about it, seeing I have the spoke weights on the rear, dealer said they quit using them last year due to them coming off (as if the stick-on don't).

How freak'n ugly to have a bright shinny chrome spoke wheel with two strips of dull, square shaped lead that look like crap.

Anyone know of other options or where I can get the actual spoke weights still?

Look up HDWheels, find where they mount there tires on there wheels and they specify how they do it on the inside of the wheel. I'm not saying get them to do it, but it will give you some idea of what to look and ask for.

I have been considering the Dynabeads myself. It sounds like several of you like them. When you change the tire do you just catch them and put them in the new tire?

I'm SOLD, hadn't seen them before, searched online and found info & video how they work. Great product and just what I was looking for. Didn't know something like that would work with an inner tube tire.

Where's best place to buy and cost?

Anyone know how much do I need for front tire on 06 Heritage Classic FLSTCi ?

Thanks ya'll for the help/info.

In case anyone else is interested here's a link with video and info http://www.evolutioncycles.com/dynabeads.htm

I got mine at Rocky Mountain ATV.I run mine in my tubes. I love these things. You need 1oz for a front tire up to 130mm and 2 oz for a rear tire up to 240mm.Just but the starter kit everything you need for both front and rear tire on your bike. Its like $15.00 . Let us know how you like em.

Yep they are reusable. Take them out of the old tire or tube and put them into your new tire or tube.
