I am in the process of restoring the paint on a 1996 Fat Boy. I believe the paint color is two tone Mystic Green / Black. I haven't seen too many of this color combination. I believe Mystic Green was standard on the Heritage for that year but not so common on the Fat Boy.

I just want to clarify that I have the right color. The paint shows a purple tint from an angle. Does this sound right to anyone?

 

All you need to do is give your vin # to the dealer and they will tell you the color/s it had on its birthday. Now getting the paint code from Harley................

 

I had attempted the Harley route and was getting nowhere. I will call a local dealer.
