I wouldnt go with a stock seat. The HD Sundowner seats are pretty comfortable. If you're looking for something with a more custom look, try C&C Seats. They've got some nice quality seats for both comfort and looks.

I am a bit over 6' with 34 inch inseam. My Wide Glide was killing my thighs last fall after a 150 mile ride. It felt like I was constantly trying to hold my knees against the tank, it was even more awkward if i didn't though.

I had recently installed a mustang seat with riders backrest. It must have moved me forward just slightly and put my knees to high. I added 3 inch forward extensions and problem solved, more comfortable than ever now.

I don't know. Looks a little crammped in the knees. Which would make you squeeze your legs together to keep from sliding all over that seat.

My back hurt and my legs would go to sleep. I tried pads for the seat and highway pegs on engine guard nothing helped until I traded bikes and noticed it went away. I think you will find the closer your feet are to you the better on your back. Make sure your seat fits you and not adding preasure on your spine.

Some times get it in the spring when I start riding again...

I would check with your Dr. about the condition. I have had gout for awhile, & it causes cramps in my opposite foot, but only when I'm in bed. Could be your circulation. If you have insurance, a quick checkup would be cheaper than forward extensions.

YO Dickey, give me the name of your Dr. Hell man I bought extentions (reuse your own pegs & peddles) for $125. I could use a cheap Doctor.

Is that the way you normally look or are you on Thorazine ? lol. Sorry, couldn't help it. Maybe change your foto.

You have an 04 FX for what, weeks? The forward controls on a softail are the most comfortable reach of any Harley made to me. Dyna's and FXR's are too far out there. FL's, well you shouldn't have fwd controls on an FL IMO, period.

Not to digress too much, at 6ft. you should be fine on an FXTC. It's either your seat, possibly your bars, or possibly your diet and exercise, and the last possibility is it is possibly all in your mind.
