Alright so I guess im a little bit of a speed freak at times and just wanted to see how fast some of you have gone.

I took my car out the other day and pegged it at 140 where it is electronically limited at. Today I made two pretty good passes on the bike. First was in 6th and the bike got up to about 110mph and wouldnt pull anymore. The 2nd pass the other way was nearly 120 in 5th gear. It amazed me how much harder 5th gear pulled all the way up than 6th. Guess the torque drops off a lot more than I expected.

Anyways call me crazy or whatever I beat on my bike a lot. Burnouts, slides, hitting the rev limiter, ect... guess I get it from my old man. Anyone else get up in the triple digits?

I haven't pushed my Fatty to triple digits but used to push my old RZ 350 2 stroke there quite often...not that is counts here but I did break the speed of sound (Mach) and was doing 600+mph but that was in an F-16 (that was fun)

I've hit triple digits on 4 wheels. Fastest I've had the Fatty was around 85-90.....on a back country road...

 

Nice! Im assuming by your name you have a Vette? Was the 173 in that and what bike was the 135 on?

I would like to someday top out my roommates GSXR... damn thing goes 120mph in 2nd gear! I dropped it once trying to slow down on a dirty road from that speed. Im sure it can hit 170ish on a long stretch of road.

My dad has a 08 Vette with a procharger and alcohol injection. He wants to find an old stretch of runway and see how fast he can get it to.
Wish I knew what my old Vette could reach... speedo only hits 85 lol.

My fatty, around 115/hr, on the autobahn in deutshland in my mercedes, 235 kilometers/hr. Don't know what that translates to, but it was freaking fast to me.

 

That's about where I've taken my Fatty, hit 90 after installing my new pipes and breather (hey I had to open it up) but it was on the interstate in town so didn't stay there long.

The F-16 ruined me cause everything else seems slow
