I've had my heritage pushed past 100 mph a couple of times but it feels a lot more stable at 85 - 95 than it does at 100+. Maybe I'm old and my ballz have shrunk............
buried the speedo and then some right after i had the fat daddy's and new tires put on a few years back along with the build. i was thinking what if the windshield cant take it or if there was something in the road or if i went by a state trooper. I let off after a short distance. i have not done it again and probably never will. that speed demon is in all of us and that no fear thing i had when i was a kid kicks up now and then. but when you think of it there really inset any where it is safe for that kind of speed well at least around here where i live . there is always an intersection ahead on the routes and some jerk waiting to cut in front of you. any one who dont respect the power will get hurt at one time or another. it dont take much at that speed to loose it and if you do its all over
I dont seam to have the need for speed as much as I did.........When you get older and the dink dont work like it use to,,,Do the ***** srink????????Is that what your saying FLST RIDER??
My Fatboy seems solid and stable at 100+ too - those who don't are probably running apes?
Roger
**** man...I just ordered my apes 2 weeks ago...but then again, I didnt buy a HD to go fast. Hell, with Apes, I'll probably FEEL like I am going faster, which is the same thing, right?
I have been 180 on my ZX12R on hwy 6 in Nevada Nice road with 3 straight stretches. But that was about 10 years ago. I can still do it on that old bike.

100 mph plus on 07' night train in Alabama in Nov.
On the way to work this morning on my sled broke 100 mph for the first time. Cold as hell but trails are hard packed and fast
100 on the Fatboy... 150 in the Dodge Charger... Got my thrill, no need to push it any further. I happy keeping both at 60-75, depending on the speed limit.
