Im riding a fatboy and Let me say this, Last year was the first bike I had in 20 years. With about 3000 miles I wanted to see how fast it would go so when I hit 100 It felt like ........****... I thought it was my not having alot of exp. I gess some of you have alot more ***** than I do.
160 on a Ninja
100 plus on Harley
135 in a 70 GTX 440,I still dont understand why the passenger goes to jail also.I wasnt driving.(lol)
107 in a 26 foot American Offshore boat, that scared me more then any ride I ever had in or on anything.
About 110 on the RK, 140 on a Katana and the ol hardtail didn't have a speedo but it beat the hell out of a Porche Boxster out on I24 a few years back. Sure do miss that bike.
About 107 on my Fat Bob at Pocono Raceway. Haven't pushed my SG yet, but it's been over 100. Fastest has been when I was launched off my Aircraft Carrier coming home from the Gulf War.
Back in the day, I got an F-16 up to 820 kias. Keep in mind, that is indicated airspeed and nautical miles/hr. I can't do the conversion in my head anymore, but it is pretty damn fast somewhere in the 1400 mph range.
On two wheels: 118.863 avg through the timed mile at Bonneville last August on a bone stock, but well tuned Nighster.
Had mine up to 105 once. I was on a poker run with a group I ride with sometimes and they like to go fast.Looking back on it, 8 bikes on a back road going that fast in the dark wasn't the best idea. I typically go about 80 on the highway and with ear plugs its as smooth as can be.
