Default Seat questions

I'm looking for advice on which seat is best for long weekend trips on springer softail FXSTS. I'm looking at the hitchhiker seat from bar enterprises (www.harleyseats.com). Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It all depends on the style...whichever you choose you should probably go with a GEL model if they offer one. Most comfortable on long trips. Corbins take at least 10K miles to break in and are a hard seat, but after break in period they are one of the best. Hope this helps.

Saddlemen Explorer is the most comfortable seat for driver and passenger that I have ever used. Nice wide seat for the passenger. I've got the one with drivers backrest for extra support. My wife is talking about getting her own bike and I may be selling mine if anyone is interested.

Check out Meancitycycles, their a forum sponser and have done two of my seats. The hospital grade memory foam is amazing and takes about 500 miles to break in. They also offer gel. Its a cheap way to do it instead of buying a after market seat for a lot more money they may not be any better. Cant hurt to give them a call.

Saddleman seats are fantastic but expensive and take time to have made. Mustang are about the best mass production/off the shelf custom seats.
