Has anyone swapped out their chrome hard lines from the oil tank to the motor for braided stainless lines? And does anyone know a maker of black braided lines? I see Goodridge makes a kit but i'm not a big fan of the hose clamp fittings that comes with it.

Also are there any concerns with oil flow that i need to be aware of with this type of conversion?

It's for a 2010 softail if it matters

The braided lines function fine for this application... you do have to find a way to keep them in place however. They are not quite rigid enough to stay put when you are at speed. As far as who has the ones that you want just "google" black braided oil lines.

 

Thanks. I have researched and found some, not steel though. The ones i've found are rubber with a fabric sleeve over them. Not a fan of them moving around down there either like you talk about. I wouldn't even be asking but i got shot down by the powder coater, he said it wouldn't work out with the fittings and everything, i'd prefer to just black out the hardlines
