Waiting for my 39" longtails with baffles from the DR. Have been asking some of the local HD dealers about tuning for these pipes. The only mod will be the addition of the exhuast, stock air filter. After sound and looks. The awnsers have been at both end of the spectrum, some have said to put pipes on and run. Others have said it will need stage 1 download. There will be no more mods to the engine other than the exhaust. With this fuel injected system how much range of adjustment does it have? What are the flow characteristic between the samson cholo's with baffles and the stock pipes?

 

Put you a PCIII on there, just to make sure that your fuel and air mixture is in good shape. I would upgrade the stock filter, you can get one reasonably cheap and you will be better in the long run. You dont have to do any mods to the engine, just do exhaust, cleaner, and PcIII, you will add alittle extra horse and torque, and you wont be running lean. JMHO

 

I would get the download bro it will run way better, but you might as well get a stage 1 air its like 80 bucks i think.
