Allright Riley, nobody has told you the truth so far. Everybody should be ashamed! That crackling and smell of smoke from your new Lo is your new GIRLFRIEND telling you to grab a beer, sit in the garage and just stare and walk around admiring her! If you dont do that after your done riding, you just need to jump back into that 4 wheel cage you own That was a serious response, however, everything described is completly normal. Especially Harley's do this because of being aircooled. Enjoy.

I have 5 fire extinguishers in my garage. One for each Harley. You just never know.

Yep, only two miles! And that was only in first gear, lapping around my snow covered gravel roads on my campground, white-knuckling the bars like they were Salma Hayek.
