Default Wheel exchange?

I have a 89 heritage, will a 2004 fatboy rear wheel fit my bike. What changes would have to be made or is it just a swap out?

You'll need the wider wheel rim and the narrower belt and rear sprocket, the front sprocket can stay the same if the teeth ratio works, if not it'll have to be changed. You'll also need to change to the narrower belt guards (upper and lower).

Not true.
We deal with dozens of HD wheels a week and their fitment. You can swap the wheels with no problem just buy machining the center hole on your pulley and rotors. Simple! Of course you will not be able to use the 150mm tire that came on the 2004 but you can use the 130mm tire that came on the 2002 and below rear wheels. If someone is charging you more then $25 a rotor or pulley your getting ripped off.

Thanks for the correction Richard. I was assuming that he wanted the fatter 150mm look and not just the rim change. I was quoting the 130 to 150 change from the parts catalouge.
