Quick warning about the grips..... I had the Edge Cut stuff on my train too (still have pass pegs) and one day I was riding and noticed I kept having to reposition my hand on the throttle, very minor at first. The more I rode the more I noticed it ......it finally got to a point where I would twist the throttle and nothing would happen (not good at an intersection or anytime for that matter). I took the grip off and found a construction flaw, the grip is made with a aluminum housing (the part you hand holds) and a plastic inner sleeve (what the cables hook to) and some glue to hold the two pieces together. Apparently my glue quit holding and when I took the grip off I could hold the plastic piece and spin the aluminum.

Not sure what factors played into my grips doing that, just giving you a heads up in case you notice your slipping.

PS I have a practically new clutch side Edge Cut grip if anyone wants one :-)

I have the entire collection, I also just bought the shift rod that matches, no pic yet. I got the collection 1st week out, no grip problems, as far as sliping. Longer rides will require gloves. But as Drew stated, the series was almost made for the LO.

TXFiremedic, thanks for the heads up on the grips. I'll keep that in mind if I ever feel that happening.

JimsFBL, do you have any bigger pics of the edge cut stuff on your bike? I have been looking at yours on the other thread trying to get an idea of what it was going to look like, but your pics are so small, it's hard to see them.

WarriorHD and BobberEVO, I'm going to start installing this week sometime. Whenever I get the chance. I guess I could be out there right now instead of being on here. Thanks for the reassurance!!! I'll post pics when I get the stuff installed.

I'm using my IMG code from photobucket, I don't know why it's not letting me upload any bigger pics. Probably something I clicked on in photobucket that I wasen't suppose to. But You can click on JIMSFBL and go to my Albums and click on any of my pictures there and that will give you a great view of them.

Mean while anyone know what I'm doing wrong lol?
