Default thumbscrew for Deluxe fender

Just went solo with a danny Gray Buttcrack on my 08 Deluxe. After removing the fender rack i need to dress up the 3 holes on the top of the fender. What are you using besides the cheap screws the dealers has? Do the Motherwell 3/8" Knurled thumbscrews work? (1/4" - 20 thread)

Did the same thing to my Heritage, buttcrack and all. I bought the Kuryakyn tribal hole filler. I haven't installed it yet. If I don't like it i'm going to look to the dealer of some button head bolts with the counter sunk washers. Those look nice on my struts. I'll take pics when I get things situated.

i went to the hardware store and picked up some plastic auto interior fasteners, shot them with some gloss black, let them dry and looks great, about two bucks investment if you already have the paint

After reading, I'm confused. The Heritage uses lp holes for rack attachment. I'm not sure about the Deluxe though. Pics would be helpful.

Now that I think of it, my luggage rack won't work on my bike anymore. Crap.

I bought both the Mustang full bib and mini bib and attached them with chrome acorn nuts. I'm running the full bib now to cover up the clear plastic fender protector. Once I get the ***** to pull the plastic off, I'm going with the mini bib.

DG Buttcrack and Mustang full bib. I don't think they're real leather, but they're only $30.00

If you go with the mini, you'll still need to plug the hole where the rack attached.
