Sorry just finding this thread now. This is one of the more glaring example of Harley's pathetic quality control. These tail lights are junk. I'v been gluing and re-gluing my plastic tail light pieces for 3 years now. The motorcycles have only 26k on them! You gotta buy the whole assembly $125 tax included. I found it for $99 at Surdyk's online.
