I didn't mind the Crossbones except for the ugly tractor seat and I think it would have been better with a 21" front wheel. The Rocker I didn't like at all except for a few I've seen that were highly modified.
I agree. The Rocker & the Crossbones were CRETIN models, & needed to go.
Dollar value ain't gonna go up on 'em They discontinued WAY cooler bikes, like the NightTrain, Softail Custom, & Low Rider, and THEIR value hasn't gone anywhere.
Cretin models? That's hardly the case. As for the Springer, it's the model that Harley Davidson was built on and the design that launched the company. Harley Davidson without a Springer model just doesn't seem right.

noun
1. a person suffering from cretinism.
2. a stupid, obtuse, or mentally defective person
I hope they do!!! That would be great! Seriously, the less Cross Bones out there the better I like it. This means I don't have to keep doing mods to my bike to make it my own.
As for value...I doubt it does anything to the value one way or another.
They did this to the Wide Glide and brought it back after a short break. The Cross Bones, assuming this rumor is true, will be back. It is too popular not come back. I think it will come back with the Dyna Street Bob rear fender.
The rear fender was a mistake as were the brakes or rather lack of them
Harley does this a lot... it's to drive up excitement. I personally predict the return of the Night Train with some minor changes... perhaps a 240 and a different rear fender?
That I'd like to see...but w/the same rear fender.
I've been looking for a clean stock or at least slightly unmolested used one w/FI and for what both private parties and dealers want for them you'd think it was made of gold....geez...
