Here is a list of the parts needed.

71990-09 Name Plate

71978-18 Moudling, Rubber

67341-04B Back Clamp 5"

68545-08 LED Indicator Lamp

71512-09 Console

Like I said, I had to make a plate out of some metal I had laying around. The stock bolt location is about an inch higher than what is needed for the cat Eye Dash.

Basically it was a square, I drilled 2 holes in the top corners and a hole in the center at the place it needed to be for the bolt. I used some screws and nuts to attach the plate to the exiting plate at the top 2 holes. There are 2 holes on the stock plate that I screwed the new plate to. If you renove your dash, you will understand what I mean much better.

Looks good adds a nice touch. Like yourself, I hate that stupid weld. HD should have had it cleaned up.

Looks great, glad to see you got it installed.
For guys interested, I was the one that sold it to him. I added 4" pullback risers to the Fatboy and when the wheel was turned all the way the risers hit the dash. This was with the chubby bars, not sure if the thiner riser would have worked or not.

Looks good viking

Nice classic theme on your bike. I really like the cateye style dash and would like to put one on my Deluxe, but I was wondering if the wiring matches up? Also, where is ODO reset/function switch on the heritage dash?

Looks very nice. I have one on my 09 Heritage and I kinda like the bib. That would look nice with a custom made black leather bib with a HD logo stamped into it. Its all in what you like though.

The wiring worked just fine.

The Function button is up on the left, close to the original Deluxe dash location.

Thanks for the compliments on my bike....which has become a Trike. You can see it here: https://www.hdforums.com/forum/hacke...o-a-trike.html

Major back and leg issues caused me to convert if I am still going to ride. Doing my best to keep the classic look.

I received my wire wheels and white wall tires and they are installed. The tires in the ppics are so i can move it around in my garage, and of course a lil test ride here or there. My fenders are in for paint this week!
