I like your bike and wheels the way they are now. Give the Neverdull stuff a shot just to shine them up a little. No way should you dump those nice wheels for new ones or spend all that money for chrome. Looks great as is!
More shine and deeper. You can get the polished aluminum pretty close, but lots of work!!! Maybe I should have called it shiny fever instead of dumba$$ fever.
Never feel like a DA when it comes to mods on your bike. Hind sight is 20/20. I too make mods all the time and wish that I had went a different route. Its just part of owning a Harley and that you want something that stands out from the rest and does not blend into the sea of bikes at bike night or on the strip cruising. I want to know where to sign up for this DA club because it certainly sounds like what I've done. I know you wanted experience with the wheels and not the DA part, I couldnt resist.

Rockyriver, thanks for the words of encouragement. Your right, this isnt the only mod I wish I would of went a different way with. This one just bugs me more than the others. If I ever start an official DA club, you get the first invite That might be the biggest club ever
I did the same thing with my 6 spoke HD wheels. I ended up sending them the the chrome shop and had them plated. I still came out money ahead over the mirror chrome wheels. If I had to do it all over again, I think I would buy the chrome ones.
bikerlaw's suggestion of getting them powdercoated with a coat of clear might be your best bet ... they can be polished to a high gloss first and they'll be good to go ....
