Default Mod of the day (fuel tank crossover line)

Got my new Magnum fuel tank crossover line put on today.

Yes, it was a pain in the ***. Not much room to get your fingers in there.

What's the use of having a crossover line on the fuel tank? And between what two things does it "cross over"? Just curious, thanks

The tank is like a saddle draped over the frame. The crossover allows the fuel from the right side to flow over to the left.

FREEFALL, good job. You did better than I did when I tried to install the braided crossover line. As careful as I was, one of the gaskets squeezed out.
I ended up using braided oil/fuel line I cut to fit and put fake braided nut connectors on mine. Harley stopped the blue paint short and black base paint was showing on both sides, (about a 1/4") with the braided line.

Looks nice, I had one on my bike for a while. But took it off the last time I needed to remove the tank.
I just replaced it with common rubber fuel line and hose clamps because I KNOW I'm going to be removing the tank again for one thing or another.
Once its been painted and I'm done fooling around with the wiring underneath I'll put the braided line back on.

That looks great, are they of standard size or specially made for each tank? do they make one for the Rocker?
