Default Fox Creek's new swingarm bag

Just ordered my swingarm bag from Fox Creek.

http://www.foxcreekleather.com/284-l...g#description2

They sent me a newsletter for the month and had the bag featured. I thought it was time to give one a try. After seeing all the good looking bags on this forum I couldn't resist.

It looks almost exactly the same as the Leatherworks bag, and they seem to have copied the sizes as well. Guess what? The Leatherworks bag is less expensive and in my personal experience very nice. I avhe had 3 different solo saddlebags on my ride and teh Leatherworks was the nicest. It is difficult to tell if there is an inside pocket on that one like LW has, but msot likely.

I do have to admit, that's a little pricey for a SA bag and I usually recommend FC products all day long.

I agree Drew.
Here's a picture of my 3" LW with a lower quality La Rosa beside it.

FWIW, I had a swing arm bag on my previous bike and after a while I noticed that is was wearing the PC on the swing arm. I wrapped my swing arm in black electrical tape where the bag contacts the swing arm. I'm sure there are better ways, but it worked for me. Just replaced the tape every couple months.

Drew, I did check your site for a price before I ordered this bag. I got the 5" wide bag and knew I was paying more. Fox Creek is a few hours away from me in Va. so I decided to give the company support, this area has a double digit unemployment rate. On the plus side if I ever need work done on the bag it is a nice ride to talk to them.
Included with my order is a survey and a request to send them a picture of the installed bag. If I comply I will receive a $25 gift card that I have plans for. I also get a free pair of riding glasses. I do try and support forum sponsors but this case was different. I still have the Dr. in mind for my exhaust D&D setup when I get to it this spring. as far as an inside pocket I don't think there is one I'll know for sure when it arrives tomoorw.

Very cool. I'm thinking of doing something similar. I'll only have room for a sissy bar bag or a handlebar bag. I'm always looking for ideas. This was great.
