im about to paint my silver engine black, was thinking of using brake cleaner and compressed to make it dissipate quicker, anyone have more first hand experience with this?

 

I use brakleen (red can) on my chrome (exhaust mostly) to remove rubber/ bugs/tar etc. DONT put it on any painted surfaces and cover them when cleaning your chrome.
