All DOT's are helmet head looking... Nature of the beast.

I rock a Biltwell 3/4 when I ride to work... It's NON dot but cause it's a 3/4 they don't bother me when riding on Base.

Bell 500 Custom is a nice 3/4 and it's DOT Check them out

I'd just do a search. I've seen some carbon fiber helmets that are DOT, but really thin.

I have a Nolan N30 Flashback. Looks retro with a removable face shield and neck piece. Small shell look so you don't look like Atom Ant. Smallest DOT helmet I have found with 3/4 minus styling.

If you actually have future hopes that someday that helmet might save your life it better say DOT and they all pretty much look like mushrooms. Nature of the beast. The carbon fiber ones seem a little better but I really have not tried one out yet.

I have three. A Fulmer DOT full face modular. A Fulmer DOT 3/4 which I like a lot and I just gave myself a Harley DOT 1/2 helmet for Christmas. It fits perfectly but I have not worn it riding yet as it's just too damn cold.

My advice, try them on first because I may be a medium with one brand and a large in another.

I envy you guys that wear cheap helmets without discomfort. I've tried many and its always to tight front to back and too loose side to side. When I put on any Arai XL it fits like a glove. Anything else is a crappy compromise on my head. Arai helmets are designed for long oval shaped heads. I have one of these on backorder now.

BTW - I've read a lot of helmet reports over the years. Expensive helmets sometimes fit better and are more quiet. But, they are not always safer than a cheaper DOT. Get the cheapest DOT that fits. Shoei and most cheap helmets from asia are made for round shape heads.
