I bought the outlaw! Perfect!! No mushroom, super small and super light. A few others have and all seem to agree.
For my 3/4 I went with Rockhard and also am 100 happy with it.

I just went with another helmet on e-bay . Found one that was small not a mushroom . Its a novelty helmet so I assume they are smaller . Like I said Illinois does not require a helmet so the DOT thing does not bother me . I just like the looks of a helmet .

I do have DOT helmets that I dont need now , brand new in the box TMS german style shiny black half helmets one in a med and one a large if anyone is interested . 35 shipped each

I have a Fulmer "Easy Rider" helmet, they are the original manufacturer of it. I got in the spring and its great. I get a lot of waves and comments about it too.
Basscatcher - got the exact same bike last month.

I have gone through a number of hats, my favorite is the GMAX GM55. Pretty small for a DOT rated half shell. It comes with a neck/ear curtain too, which really takes the bite out when it starts getting cold. It also has a really cool retractable sun shield, I don’t use it much myself but it works pretty good. It's very light and hardly any wind lift.

I use a Harley half with the zip out muffs for early spring through late fall riding. Use a full face during our 2-3 months of "good" weather below 35-40*. All DOT

I've got the Scorpion EXO that is referenced in the video above. It definitely gives mushroom head...but what the hell...it has flames and skulls on it, and it has the cool inner visor that I flip down on the highway (I don't ride with a windscreen).

I don't support helmet laws but I think enough of my head that I always wear a "brain bucket". I want comfort and DOT, looks are secondary.. My current helmet is a Bell Mag 8, and yeah I look like a helmet head.

Those novelty german/polo/half lids go for $25.00-35.00 bucks + gas money to the bike shop. I own several lids and one of them is a "Voss" novelty polo style that i wear backwards. I payed $35.00.... ... They are sold at most indy bike shops... Spend a day visiting your local shops and you will be amazed at all the things they sell.....
