Default FXSTC Rear Brake Caliper Removal

Here is what happened: one of the spigots on the oil tank broke while I was riding and threw oil all over right rear side of the bike...it got on the caliper and rotor. I was advised that beacause of this I should replace the brake pads. Wanted to know if anyone has any suggestions on a problem I ran into - I can't seem to pull the caliper off the rotor..I removes the two bolts and I"m able to lift the caliper up approx 1/2 inch but thats it. It seems like it's hung up. any suggetstions. By the way the bike is an 88 FXSTC. Thanks.

Use aerosol brake cleaner to thuroughly clean the brake pads and keep riding. Be sure to put rags around and below your caliper to absorb the cleaner. www.chromethathog.com

I used aerosol brake cleaner and it seems like it worked well. Thanks for the advice.
