Default CHROME TO BLACK on my 2-1?

Im thinking of changing my fatcat from chrome to ceramic/powdercoat black, what does everyone think? also where is the best place to have it done

I like the chrome on your bike. Get chrome rims to match the exhaust.

I'm bias, so I say black. But I warn you, once you start down that rode it never stops, next you will want black rims etc... GOOD LUCK!

I've been using Jet-Hoat Coatings on cars and bikes for years with out a problem.Done several chrome pipes that still look new.

If you do that, you should have it done over the chrome coating if you can, otherwise it may rust. I had black ceramic coated pipes on my bike and they started to rust less than 2 years after I had them on.

To see if you like it before you actually have them coated you could take the heat shields off and wrap the pipes. Then if you dont like it, then just unwrap and put the heat shields back on.

Prob not what you are wanting to hear, but I agree with the majority here.
IMO, I think you should stick with the chrome.
I've never seen a black exhaust coating that is glossy, and with your bike, the flat black exhaust would look out of place.
I've been thinking of doing my exhaust black, but my tins are flat.
I'm still on the fence though, because the Fatboy has so much chrome to start with
