I would def stay with earbuds and ipod. Just think they would look a lill funny. There is a new post about those wireless earbuds would be the way I would go for sure.

+1 on the earbuds. To each his own, but speakers just wouldn't look right. Kind of the way saddlebags look on them. I'd like them for some storage, but just can't bring myself to put them on my bike. Which is why I'm getting a swing arm bag.

lazyboy09, I agree. I have a Creative Zen X-Fi I use and brand new Rocker saddle bags I never installed because of the look didn't fit what I was going for.

I saw a pic of one with the same speakers but nearer to the center of the handle bar facing slightly towards eachother... Dont you find that earphones are a little dangerous due to them blocking out too much noise? You cant hear horns or breaks screeching or anything :P

You have to admit the sound on them is nice??

I used to wear ear buds and the sound is much better and more audible with the speakers. I wear ear plugs on the highway as it is easier to hear the music as it blocks out the wind noise with my half helmet.

However, I never did have a problem hearing what was going on around me with the ear buds either, although riding with 2 ear buds is against the law where I live.

I usually wait until I am about to pull away before turning on the tunes. I live in apartments and and there are a lot of neighbors, however no one has complained yet. Maybe it's because I am the manager too. LOL.
