question about the 2011 heritage/deluxe and a SE 110
Can a Screaming Eagle 110 fit into the 2011 heritage or deluxe?
would there be any modifications i would need to make?
also, would i be able to order a new heritage with that motor in it from the factory?
your help is very much apreciated.

I am not 100% certain, but unless it is a CVO model year bike you cannot get the 110 factory installed.
Instead, your local dealer will have to either order a complete engine (honestly maybe the best bet) or bore out an existing engine for the 110 kit.
If you have a good dealer, and they know what they are doing, they can build and install a damn nice engine, with upgraded cams, pushrods, heavy duty clutch spring, etc.It will cost some serious money though, no doubt.
Many on the forums may tell you to go with another brand like other than Harley, but if you are buying a new bike, stick with the motor companies engine so it is still all under the factory warranty. An after market engine will come directly out of your pocket for service fees even if the engine itself is still under manufacturer warranty.
You don't need to make any modifications other than a fuel pack (electronic computer that controls fuel mixture), Stage 1 Air Cleaner (plenty of them out there, RSD, V&H, Screaming Eagle to either use the stock cover or a big sucker, etc.), and a set of after market pipes to utilize the power of the engine. If you try to use stock exhaust and air cleaner, you will end up choking your engine and really not using it to its potential.
I learned a lot from reading Dr. VTwin's posts as well as a bunch of the sponsors who contribute to answering questions. There is a lot of information on this site, so take some time and look through.

Ive looked at a few cvo's, but the biggest problem is that they are pricey. Im not looking for all of the extras that the cvo comes with, which are cool, but now really what im aiming for.
I was hoping i could order a new heritage, or deluxe, if i have to, with the 110 screaming eagle installed. I seen a couple bike with that motor on it, but i believe they were street glides.
Thanks for the help fellas. And thanks for the vtwin website.

like the other guys said, no factory installed 110 unless its a cvo. honestly though, for the money, the softail convertible is your best bet. 19k for a bike plus another 4-5 k for an engine, then labor to install, tune, some pipes and a high flow air filter, your at the same-ish price as a cvo. just my opinion tho.

I like that convertible also, but I have a friend who has one and you still need to buy pipes and a tuner and have it tuned, cause the moco's 110 still won't take my 103 stage 11 with sert and a tune, in fact it isn't even close, especially when you consider it's a 110 verses 103.
