Handlebar Options for Springer front end
#12
Yes, and it really becomes an issue with bars that start to turn up-wards rather quickly. Don't just assume the knurling is the only issue. Very few bars designed to give a narrow style will fit the wider Springer risers.

I'm dealing with the samething right now. My stock risers measure 6.75" from outside edge to outside edge so as long as the bottom of the bars are a little wider than that I should be good. I'm trying to find some 16" apes with a narrow bottom that are dimpled...don't care if they are knurled or not......and cheap!

Just an idea for you. Get a set of stock drag bars, and then get a set of risers that are the height you want the bars. Then powder coat black to match.
I have an 06 Springer and when I went to apes I switched out the top mount and now I can run regular bars on mine and not ones that are only meant for springers.

question!!
** I've got a 2011 Crossbones and a set of 14 inch T Bars. I can't find an actual adapter that fits. I saw the one the guy recommended to you on the forum but I don't think that will work. I messed up and got one from Paugcho that also doesn't work. Any luck so far? Email me back at dnh1911@yahoo.com if you wouldn't mind. Thanks man.
