Never thought about putting the horn behind the splash guard, and what a simple idea. Thats what kept me from doing this earlier... hmmm were to put the horn.... splash guard.
Sweet! Alot have used the horn cover but I thought the og coil cover looked clean.

You should cut the wings off your splash guard while you have it off! I did mine and it really exposes and cleans up the rear wheel.

I may try this on my Deluxe as well.It looks real clean.I did something very similar on my Sportster .I had to make my own bracket though and relocated the coil & ignition b/w the jugs .I used 10mm SE Rocker wires .But didnt have to relocate the horn.

Thanks for the pics bbeavers76. Got my wires ordered from USKooLines yesterday afternoon and they shipped yesterday. Saved some money over other brands too.

i personally dont like the original coil cover looks like something that harley didnt quite think through enough before production ina word its fugly as for it being cleaner thats a matter of opinion.relocating the coil and cover is easy ,but mounting it under the cowbell is harder but the finished product looks better imo.id mount it with plug wires down instead of up ..atleast thats what i did when i relocated mine ,but you have to pull the front and rear coil wires out of the harness and switch them so the plug wires dont cross.
