I have a 96 fat boy with a badlander seat that my wife hates with a passion. I would like to replace it, but I just want to go back with a stock seat. I have found one that is very resonably priced but it is from an 08 model and I'm not sure if it will fit. Does anyone know what years are interchangeable and which are not. I just hate to spend money on a seat that looks good but will not fit once I get it. Any help is greatly appreciated, Thanks.

 

Not going to fit. For your year, seats for 1984-1999 should fit.
