Wow, you work CHEAP! I thought web designers commanded a LOT more than a couple hundred dollar seat cover, on a total redesign. I think he's the one that got the deal. Don't get me wrong, I think it's great you're happy, but I bet he's happier...
Nothin' better than a WIN-WIN, I reckon.

The "command" was a lot better back before the .com fall. Now days it's not as good. Guess it really depends on what kind of a rework it is. I would ask for the sky if I had the opportunity though.

Dunno about the ostrich...it looks good on boots, but I don't know how comfortable it'd be sitting on those "bumps" during a ride?
Maybe a natural cowhide tinted to highlight the white/pink color combo...the hide would gain character in the grain as it ages. How about shark? It's fairly tough and has an interesting pattern...

I don't know about one hide for the seat. The most impressive looking seats to me have been the one with a creative inlay of another skin. Like a nice clean leather with an alligator or Ostrich patch in the center. There are so many combinations that I can see where the problem lies. Oh, I also think that the bike you posted would have been served better with a light tan or even a black hide seat. But that is me.
