Thats a really good price,, I had mine done 2yrs ago and the winter special was $795 for the same, cams, bearings, install, and new dyno.
Two things do come to mind that U didn't mention...
1. If U have over 20k on U bike, might consider new lifters... I put new ones in with the cams at 16k, but since I've learned from 3 other wrenches that in their opinion, the break point is 20k or so. Up to U.!!
2. Dont forget to insist on torrington cam bearings on install. (Maybe $2 more) The bearings that come with the Andrews bearing kit will be INA's (unless they've changed in 2 yrs)... I found out afterwards.. the INA's bearings in the 96's are bigger than the pre 96'' motor bearings and there's less pressure on the cams now with the HYD setup,, but still bottom line line is to go with the Torrington's.
HD now has them in there book, I think there just called SE High Perf cam bearings for the 96'' motor.
Will add, hope U like them as much as I have. Good bolt in cams..
If U have any ?'s, I'll help as much as I can...
If U want to see the results I got from stock -VS- STG1 with the And-26H cams dyno sheets, heres the link.. there in the first post in the thread.
