Congrats on having her. I am like that too... fully understand about mods and such. Got my Hubby Samson pipes for his Fat Bob for Christmas, they are already installed. He has no idea.

I don't know how to surprise him best... wrap the old pipes and put them under the tree? Bring him up to the dealership and tell him they had a problem with his bike in storage and he has to inspect it?

Or wait until April when we pick our bikes up from storage and wait for him to notice?

Last spring when Harley was running their special on trading in Sportsters I had the dealer locate a denim black Rocker (what Hubby said he wanted) and I arranged to trade in his Nightster for it.... Told him I had ordered him something and we had to take his bike to the shop so that he would ride it in. When he got there, the bike he'd been looking for was in the middle of the showroom floor with a SOLD sign on it that had his name on it...It was pretty awesome! It took a minute for it to sink in what was going on!

 

You guys have some great wives.

 

It must have been great to see his face then!

 

It was awesome - he looked a little confused and questioning, then when he saw me smiling he got it and just broke into a joker grin. I have pics somewhere - I'll try to find them...

Christmas Eve, put on something slinky from Victoria's Secret...hold one of the exhaust pipes in a suggestive pose...and ask him if he can help you do something with it.
