Nice choice. Invest in some Doc Bailey's Leather Black to keep them looking like new.

And please, please paint those bolts black.

You have a rippen bike... but... NOT at all feelen the bags steup your runnen. IMO... If you gonna run bags, make em' hard bags. Maybe like "Luisruiz" ... https://www.hdforums.com/forum/membe...-luisruiz.html ... But i could see how your Fatcat would cause an issue with that idea......

Also... have you thought about maybe internally runnen those speaker wires. Its looken really busy with cables/wires runnen everywhere. Just throwen in out there... just given ideas thats all.

As soon as someone leaves a set of hardbags at my door step I will gladly at them I am on a tight budget right now. I can't do the extended, I will scrape the crap out of the bottoms. One day I run all those wires internally. For now i am still on cloud nine with these bags...My bike loses it sleekness, but I really don't care.

Like how they are nice and close to the frame. Looks good. Would love to see pics from the side.

There is a fair amount of space, but it is hard to tell in the pic as everything is black. It works for me! Nowhere near as close as the HogDeluxe bags sit, but what can I do. Choices choices.

I painted my bolts on the bagger tail black and it looked pretty good.
Then I got a set of these things from my father in law for my birthday and I like em better.
They take the place of the nuts and you just screw in the bolts from the reverse side.
