Default 2009 rocker tank removel (stumped)

my friend just called me and ask me if i knew something he didnt. he is having a problem removeing his tank. on my tank (dyna) its two bolts and disconect a couple hoses and its off but this is what he emailed me so i figure who better to ask but the forum. here is his problem do you see anything that he is missing to do. thanks jackyl

the problem is that the tank won't lift in the front. It feels like there is some OTHER bolt or bracket holding it down (solid). I have:

1. Removed front main tank bolt.

2. Loosened rear tank bolt.(the rear tank lifts up easily)

3. Removed cable cover to make sure cables, wire bundle, air hoses, etc. had slack, - none are obstructing and rnough slack.

4. he shined a flashlight under the tank to see if there are any other "brackets" or "bolts" added on the 2009 rocker model - but did not see any

The only thing I can think of, his crossover line is tight enough it's stopping him from raising it.

I think the guy has started two threads already about the problem. (His friend)

I know he said the rear of the tank raises, but a rocker has two nuts on the single bolt at the rear. One for the console and under it, the one holding the rear of the tank.

Did he remove the bolt holding the front of the console? It's bolted to the frame. If he didn't remove it, that's why the tank isn't moving.

don't know if the rocker has a rubber sleeve over the backbone in the front...my 07 train had it, it somewhat gives some resistance when lifting the tank

No sleeve, just two rubber bumpers similar to old Fatbob tanks. No guide on the tanks like the old ones though.
